TAMPA, FL – Silverton Hospital, a 48-bed, not-for-profit hospital located in Oregon, has chosen Intergy by Sage Software as its Electronic Health Record and practice management system.

Silverton Hospital is a 26-physician organization with seven multi-specialty clinics. In 2002 the hospital added a Family Birth Center and an expanded Emergency Department, among other expansions. They were honored with being named one of the nation’s 100 top hospitals by Evanston, Ill.-based Solucient in 2005.

“Silverton Hospital has grown rapidly over the past few years, and we needed a well-integrated EHR and practice management system that could help us manage our information and provide excellent care,” said Nicole Powers, clinic manager, Silverton Hospital in a press release.

Intergy EHR by Sage is a CCHIT Certified management system that automates daily tasks to expedite clinical activities. Intergy EHR integrates with an array of tools including, The Medical Manager by Sage, to capture and organize visit documentation.

Powers added, “Out of several tools that we looked at, Intergy was by far the most user-friendly. Plus, having used The Medical Manager by Sage, we were very familiar with Sage Software’s high level of customer service, which was another key selling point.”

Silverton Hospital is the latest Northwest-based medical group to use Intergy for its EHR and practice management needs. Three other practices-Milwaukie, Ore.-based, 24-provider Northwest Primary Care, Bend, Ore.-based, 18-provider High Lakes Health Care, and Portland, Ore.-based, 34-provider Pacific Medical Group-are also using Intergy and Intergy EHR.

Andy Corbin, CEO, Sage Software Healthcare said in a press release. “We’re happy to be partnering with Silverton Hospital, Northwest Primary Care and Pacific Medical Group, three of the largest primary care providers in the Portland area. Each of these customers share two common traits: they are large and fast-growing. Intergy offers them an intuitive, integrated system that will help them better manage this while continuing to provide top-notch patient care.”
