Patient Placement Systems of Atlanta has launched Web-to-Referral, a feature of the company's Web-based referral management system for automating patient admissions that allows continuing care providers to instantly receive Web-based referrals and inquiries directly into their Referral Management System.

MobileMD, based in Warminster, Pa., has announced that PinnacleHealth, a non-profit healthcare system serving central Pennsylvania, will implement the company's Health Information Exchange (HIE) and Enterprise Access (EA) technology and services to connect the health system's various facilities and the physician practice community.

HSAGlobal, an Auckland, New Zealand-based provider of healthcare information software, has completed a successful pilot implementation of its Community Care Management Solution in Singapore and will soon be looking at expansion to Australia and Canada.

Agfa HealthCare has announced that the government of the Northwest Territories in Canada has chosen the company's IMPAX Picture Archiving and Communications Systems (PACS) to migrate its regional radiology services to a digital environment. IMPAX has already been installed at the Stanton Territorial Hospital, one of the four main hospitals in the province, and the agreement foresees expansion to the other three facilities.

SailPoint, based in Austin, Texas, has announced a new suite of deployment offerings for its SailPoint IdentityIQ identity governance solution, including a virtual appliance, a hosting option and a menu of managed services.

NetMotion Wireless, a Seattle-based provider of mobile productivity and management software, has announced that the Puget Sound Blood Center has deployed the company's Mobile Virtual Private Network (VPN) solution to provide its mobile clinicians with access to wireless data and applications as they move across Washington state.

The Axolotl Corporation of San Jose, Calif., has announced that Physicians Medical Group of Santa Cruz County in California, the lead organization in the Santa Cruz Health Information Exchange (HIE), has implemented the company's Elysium Virtual Health Record. Also, the company has announced that its Elysium EMR has achieved advanced Surescripts certification status for e-prescribing.

INFINITT North America, based in Phillipsburg, N.J., is launching the INFINITT Cardiology PACS, a complete image management solution for the cardiology department.
