Just a week after its purchase of Medical Data Express, the TriZetto Group announced Thursday it would acquire Kocsis Consulting Group (KCG), a Michigan-based firm that provides software training, compliance and change management solutions for payers.

KCG’s training solutions library for industry applications includes nearly 100 end-user courses for TriZetto’s Facets and QNXTTM platforms, enterprise core administration systems used by health plans to serve more than a third of all Americans.

“KCG enhances and greatly expands our end-user training and business process engineering (BPE) services,” said Jake Sorg, senior vice president of consulting services for TriZetto. “KCG’s consistently strong client results attest to the success of its methodology. This acquisition is part of TriZetto’s continuing commitment to provide world-class services that help healthcare organizations meet business challenges today and for years to come."

KCG’s training services include instructional design and training facilitation. Its BPE, business readiness, and audit and compliance readiness services help customers move from software installation to the most productive, enterprise-wide use of such investments. KCG also assists customers with policy and procedure documentation and change management techniques.

“We believe that joining TriZetto will create an unmatched consulting capacity to serve TriZetto’s client base of more than 350 payers and over 21,000 physician practices, translating technical tools into customized end-user training experiences that help enable businesses to fully adopt new technologies,” said Chris Kocsis, president of KCG. “As part of TriZetto, not only can we help more healthcare organizations improve their administrative efficiency, but we can also help payers and providers collaborate more effectively to deliver greater value for every healthcare dollar spent."
