Sun Pharma probes cyber breach
Indian pharma giant Sun Pharmaceutical Industries has reported an "information security incident," according to PTI.
The news report noted that the company has already reported the incident to the authorities and has since isolated its affected IT assets.
Presently, the company is investigating the matter while taking appropriate containment and remediation actions in a "controlled" manner to address the apparent cyber attack.
Sikkim hospital upgrades to smart connected beds
The Central Referral Hospital of the Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences-Tadong has tied up with Dozee to enable continuous patient monitoring.
According to a media release, the partnership will see 30 beds of CRH upgraded to Dozee-connected beds with contactless continuous vital signs monitoring and an early warning alert system.
It is said that the upgrade is part of CRH's initiatives to transition to a smart hospital.
LifeSigns powers Amala Hospital's smart ward
Kerala-based hospital chain Amala Hospital has tapped RPM provider LifeSigns to help build a smart ward at its cardiology and medicine departments in Thrissur.
It has installed LifeSigns' integrated monitoring system which allows real-time monitoring of patients' vitals with an early warning alert mechanism.
Also as part of the partnership, patient monitors have been set up at the nurses' station and a patient information system has been running across the hospital.
Motherhood Hospitals offers digital upskilling with Infosys
Bengaluru-headquartered women and children hospital chain Motherhood Hospitals has signed a memorandum of understanding with Infosys to digitally upskill healthcare students via the Infosys Springboard.
According to a press statement, a comprehensive learning and development programme via Infosys Springboard will be provided to nurses, customer care executives, and the administrative staff across Motherhood Hospitals. It includes free interactive sessions with healthcare experts and masterclasses on health-related themes.
