Tech-enabled home healthcare provider Speedoc has tied up with Parkway Shenton, the primary care arm of IHH Healthcare Singapore, to expand care options for patients.

Parkway Shenton, which operates over 50 GP clinics across the country, taps into Speedoc's capabilities in home healthcare to offer the option to deliver care within the comfort of their patients' homes.

Based on a press release, Parkway Shenton looks to roll out 24/7 doctor and nurse house calls, remote health monitoring, as well as, medical consultations and hospital-level care at home for patients.

THE LARGER TREND

Speedoc is also involved in several home hospitalisation pilots under the Ministry of Health's Mobile Inpatient Care@Home programme as a technology partner. It is supporting the National University Health System, Singapore General Hospital, and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital in their respective virtual ward service trials.

The company continues to seek collaborations with both private and public healthcare providers to expand its mobile home care model. Last year, it received $28 million in pre-Series B funding for this purpose.

ON THE RECORD

"We are taking huge steps into delivering on our promise to build and strengthen the health of our communities… By leveraging technology, we are able to scale our services without compromising quality of care. This partnership will also ensure our operations remain sustainable in the long run and our patients receive the care they need anytime, anywhere," said Parkway Shenton CEO Tay Wee Kai.
