Lumeon and Digital Noema bring care pathways to telehealth system
Digital health vendor Lumeon and telemedicine tech company Digital Noema Telehealth announced at HIMSS17 that they are partnering to optimize care pathways for telemedicine reimbursements.
Digital Noema Telehealth’s system is designed to enable clinicians, caregivers and patients to extend care coordination to go beyond traditional care models, optimize care, and promote patient engagement of any at-risk patient population, in a HIPAA-compliant environment, the vendor said.
Lumeon’s Care Pathway Manager integrates clinical and administrative systems and gives providers the ability to design and automate their own pathway rules so that each patient is automatically progressed through a personal care journey based on individual data, the vendor explained.
“We’ve been looking for a care pathway automation partner for quite some time,” said Roque Espinal-Valdez, founder and CEO of Digital Noema Telehealth. “With Lumeon’s functionality to automate and orchestrate the care pathway, previously manual tasks are eliminated and we can ensure that reimbursable elements are consistently used to deliver predictable outcomes for our customers in the managed care market.”
Working with Digital Noema Telehealth provides Lumeon the opportunity to address one of the fastest growing sectors within healthcare, said Robbie Hughes, Lumeon CEO. “At the same time, our platform will enable customers of Digital Noema Telehealth to automate and orchestrate their care pathways to maximize reimbursement and improve efficiency of care delivery,” he added.
The new system will be available in North American and European markets beginning in March.
