Indiana University Health names new CISO
Indiana University Health, the largest healthcare system in the state, has appointed Mitch Parker as executive director of Information Security and Compliance.
Parker comes to IU Health from Temple Health, where he served as chief information security officer for eight years.
At IU Health, Parker, who assumed the position in September, leads a team within Information Services dedicated to protecting the organization's systems and data. He reports to Chief Information Officer Mark Lantzy.

IU Health has 15 affiliated hospitals and almost 30,000 employees. It also partners with Indiana University School of Medicine.
Parker has a BS in computer science from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, an MS in information technology leadership from LaSalle University and an MBA from the Fox School of Business, Temple University.
He is an adjunct professor with the Information Technology and Cyber Security program at the Fox School of Business at Temple University, as well he as a popular presenter at professional conferences and webinars.
