The Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange (WEDI) announced Thursday that it is conducting its latest online ICD-10 industry progress survey. The survey has a closing date of Feb. 20.

According to an alert emailed by WEDI officials, the short survey contains questions on the status of an organization’s current ICD-10 implementation and the impact of the one-year delay in the compliance date.

“Information from this survey will be used to inform WEDI, CMS, and other organizations of the progress of ICD-10 implementation and to plan necessary programs and actions to assist the industry in meeting the Oct 1, 2014 compliance date,” according to WEDI officials. “We are asking impacted organizations (vendors, health plans, and healthcare providers) to complete this survey to assure a wide variety of responses and an accurate picture of industry progress.”

WEDI is asking that only one response be submitted from each interested organization. The survey is open to all impacted healthcare organizations, both WEDI members and non-members.
