ICF International lands $27.5M government health IT contract

ICF International, which provides consulting services and technology solutions to government and commercial clients, has been awarded a new contract with the Department of Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of the Chief Information Officer.

ICF will provide information technology management and research support services. The contract has a value of up to $27.5 million and a term of one base year and four option years.

Under agreement, ICF International will provide IT market research services; IT executive program services; IT communications, outreach, and conference facilitation; and other administrative and technical support services.

“ICF is proud to support the strategic direction and management of the NIH CIO and in particular the IT programs,” said Terry McKittrick, vice president for ICF International. “Our team of experienced professionals looks forward to continuing our support of the NIH and its efforts to improve IT services to the NIH community.”

ICF has provided the NIH CIO with IT research support services for the past four years. ICF will combine its NIH institutional knowledge with its IT management expertise to develop and implement IT management solutions consistent with the NIH mission and operational environment. ICF will work with the NIH CIO to establish IT strategies and governance mechanisms to enable IT portfolio, program, and project management processes that ensure NIH’s IT investments reflect the agency’s highest priorities; promote investment efficiencies; and control operational and technical risk.
