Three physician groups in Willmar, Minn., are partnering with the Center for Diagnostic Imaging to open a new medical imaging center.

“Diagnostic imaging and image-guided procedures are important components in many patients’ care continuum,” said Martin Janning, MD, of the Janning ENT Center. “Often these procedures aid us in making a definitive diagnosis, which can lead to a more efficient, effective treatment plan.”

The Family Practice Medical Center, Janning ENT Center and Allergy & Asthma Specialty Clinic have designed Willmar CDI to provide outpatient medical imaging services to those needing care in the region. They’re working with CDI, a national, freestanding, outpatient imaging provider co-owned by Toronto-based Onex Partners.

The new facility will offer services that include computed tomography, full-field digital mammography, ultrasound, x-ray and bone-density imaging.

The clinic looks to start admitting patients by the beginning of September.
