Located in Texas, the hospital is part of the Memorial Herman Health System. Memorial Hermann Sugar land comprises 77 rooms and offers a variety of specialty services including an emergency center, sports medicine and rehabilitation, laboratory services and more.
CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System is based in Texarkana, Texas, but serves the entire Texarkana region of Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, and Oklahoma. The health system is located on a 129-acre campus that includes the 312-bed CHRISTUS St. Michael Acute-Care Hospital, a 50-bed Rehabilitation Hospital, an Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, an Outpatient Imaging Center and a community Health & Fitness Center.
Baylor Medical Center at Waxahachie is part of the Baylor Health Care System in Texas. In addition to providing a range of medical services, the hospital also provides free preventive health services to the community.
Also part of the Baylor Health Care System, All Saints Medical Center is a 525-bed not-for-profit facility based in downtown Fort Worth. In addition to cardiology and oncology services, All Saints also has a neuroscience center.
St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center is a teaching hospital for Tufts University School of Medicine. A Caritas Family Hospital, St. Elizabeth’s has a wide range of specialties, from cardiovascular and neurology care to women and infant’s health.
Based in Ponca City, Oklahoma, Ponca City Medical Center is the only Oklahoma hospital on Thomson Reuters’ list this year. With 140 beds, it was recognized in the “Small Community Hospitals” category.
Reid Hospital, based in Richmond, Indiana, has recently undergone significant changes, resulting in a well-designed facility with improved technology and health services.
A 72-bed acute care facility, Kosciusko Community Hospital includes a cancer care center, urgent care and occupational health, family healthcare services and more. KCH employs 71 active medical staff and 100 courtesy medical staff members.
Based in Moberly, Missouri, Moberly Regional Medical Center is a 103-bed hospital with 44 active physicians and 43 associated doctors.
Naperville, Ill.-based Edward Hospital comprises 309 private patient rooms and 4,300 employees. Seventy medical and surgical specialties are represented. The hospital has invested nearly $100 million in a renovation project that includes upgraded ORs and ICU, improved labor and delivery rooms and more.
Based in Decatur, Ill., Decatur Memorial Hospital was honored in the "Teaching Hospital" category.
A not-for-profit, acute care hospital, Russell Medical Center serves Central Alabama. Russell Medical Center was also named an Everest Award winner by Thomson Reuters, which recognizes hospitals that have shown the most improvement in the last five years.
A non-profit organization operating two hospitals and several affiliated health care organizations, Genesis HealthCare System serves a six-county region of southeastern Ohio.
Carle Foundation Hospital is part of The Carle Foundation, a parent company of an integrated network of healthcare services. The 325-bed regional care facility is a Magnet designated hospital and is based in Urbana, Ill.
Thomas Hospital is a 129-bed acute care hospital and affiliate of Infirmary Health System. The hospital has been named a Top Cardiovascular Hospital by Thomson Reuters for four consecutive years.
