Vendor Notebook - Noteworthy Medical Systems gets investment from CompuGROUP

Noteworthy Medical Systems, Inc., a Cleveland-based provider of connected healthcare technology solutions for the ambulatory healthcare sector, has received a "substantial equity investment" from CompuGROUP Holding AG, a Koblenz, Germany-based provider of e-health services in Europe. The announcement comes in conjunction with Noteworthy's merger with ChartConnect, Inc., a Yakima, Wash.-based provider of turnkey health information exchange and Web-based electronic health record applications.


Capsule
, an Andover, Mass.-based provider of medical device connectivity, has announced a partnership with Philips Healthcare to expand its reach into Europe. Capsule's DataCaptor 5.0 device connectivity solution will be integrated with the Philips IntelliVue Clinical Information Portfolio Critical Care (ICIP-CC) patient data management system.


Allscripts-Misys Healthcare Solutions
of Chicago has announced that Edge Health Solutions, Inc., of Richmond, B.C., Canada, has signed a definitive, multi-million-dollar agreement to resell the Allscripts Electronic Health Record as "EdgeEHR Powered by Allscripts" to 1,000 physicians and dentists now using practice management software on the Mac OS X platform.  In addition, the company has announced that Pee Dee Cardiology Associates has selected Allscripts Professional Electronic Health Record and Practice Management for its 16 clinicians in the Pee Dee River region of South Carolina.

Perceptive Software of Shawnee, Kan., has announced that Satilla Regional Medical Center in Georgia will deploy the company's ImageNow enterprise document management software in its accounts payable department.

InnerSpace, a Grand Rapids, Mich.-based provider of storage and inventory management solutions, has announced that its Space TRAX and SpaceTRAX plus RFID are now available to more than 2,300 customers in the Amerinet group purchasing organization.

, a Clermont, Fla.-based provider of physician relationship management and electronic referral services, has announced its formal launch and the availability of its Preferr product, a software collaboration platform designed to improve organizational efficiencies related to the referral process and managing physician relationships.
