Vendor Notebook - Navicure releases version 4.0

The Fujitsu Computer Systems Corp. of Sunnyvale, Calif. has announced the availability of the 13.3-inch widescreen LifeBook T5010 and LifeBook T1010 convertible tablet PCs, equipped with Intel Centrino 2 processor technology. The company also announced the launch of the LifeBook E8420 notebook, the LifeBook S6520 notebook, the LifeBook A6210 notebook and the LifeBook S7220 notebook.

Sentrigo, based in Woburn, Mass., has launched the Hedgehog vPatch, virtual patching software designed to protect databases against known vulnerabilities as soon as they are discovered.

Spectra Logic, of Boulder, Colo., has announced its enhanced channel partner program, SpectraEDGE, which offers customers customized incentives, training and better margins in a flexible, three-tiered approach.

WhereToFindCare.com, LLC, a Michigan startup, has unveiled a free Web site designed to let visitors share their healthcare experiences, research quality data, review other users' ratings and contact providers directly. Its database includes more than 52,000 healthcare providers nationwide.

Streamline Health of Cincinnati has announced that Marion General Hospital in Marion, Ohio will implement the company's document management and workflow solutions integrated with the hospital's GE Centricity Enterprise clinical information solution.

Epocrates, Inc., based in San Mateo, Calif., has launched its clinical reference application for the iPhone and iPod touch, which is available on the Apple App Store. The company's mobile drug and formulary reference can be downloaded free after Epocrates registration, and the Epocrates Rx mobile application includes feature pill pictures and a drug identification tool.

HealthHonors, based in Norwell, Mass., has announced a behavior modification platform designed for use by healthcare payers, manufacturers and service providers to increase patient adherence of prescribed drug therapy and wellness initiatives.

The SanDisk Corp. of Milpitas, Calif. has announced that Howard County General Hospital in Columbia, Md. has selected the company's Cruzer Enterprise secure USB flash drives and Central Management & Control (CMC) server software, designed to protect highly confidential medical and organizational data.

Tangent, Inc. of Burlingame, Calif. has unveiled a 17-inch, all-in-one, point-of-care PC, the Medix 1700SF.

Geonetric, a Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based provider of online solutions for the healthcare industry, has launched a new Web site for Pennsylvania-based St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network, www.mystlukesonline.org,  

Dialog Medical, a provider of informed consent and patient education systems for hospitals and physician practices, has signed a new contract with The Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven, Conn. to implement the iMedConsent application.
