Atlanta-based WiFiMed Holdings Company, Inc. has signed a memorandum of understanding to purchase Integrated Telecare Ltd. (i-Telecare) of Hampshire, England and Position System Limited of Surry, England both in a combination stock and asset sale.

CSS, Inc. of Toronto has unveiled ComView IPw, described as a new software solution to securely monitor, collect, access and control data from all equipment across a distributed network infrastructure.

The Hypercom Corp. of Scottsdale, Ariz. has announced that its HBNet transaction transport service and Optimum T4220 care payment terminals have been selected by the Health Transaction Network to support that company's healthcare provider network.

Patient Care Technology Systems of Mission Viejo, Calif. has announced that Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton, Pa. has selected the company's Amelior EDTracker software for its emergency department. The software will use ultrasound locating from PCTS partner Sonitor Technologies.

Breach Security, Inc. of Carlsbad, Calif. has announced the latest release of its flagship WebDefend Web application security compliance, version 3.4. The new version is designed to make it easier for businesses to comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard by securing magnetic stripe data, cardholder verification numbers and personal identification numbers.

Dallas-based Healthvision has entered into an agreement to purchase the majority of Montreal-based MediSolution Healthcare Products and Services division's assets, with the exception of the blood bank business. The MediSolution product suite includes electronic health record systems, a patient management suite, clinical department systems, lab information systems and public health and community care solutions. The deal is expected to increase Healthvision's access to the Canadian market.

MedMira, Inc. of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada has announced that it has received a Notice of Allowance from the U.S. Patent and Trademark for its rapid flow-through test (RFT) methodology, the technology platform its rapid tests are built on.

MediClick, of Raleigh, N.C., has signed contracts with six new hospitals or health systems to implement MediClick for Contracts & Analysis. They are City of Hope, a comprehensive cancer center in Duarte, Calif.; Children's Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio; Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, N.H.; West Tennessee Healthcare, the University of South Alabama Health System; and Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, W.Va.
