INFINITT North America, based in Phillipsburg, N.J., has signed an exclusive distributorship with the Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation of Japan to establish a joint venture company for the marketing of health information technology systems in Korea, to be called TI Medical Systems.

Six healthcare IT vendors - Allscripts of Chicago, eClinicalWorks of Westborough, Mass., the McKesson Corporation's Practice Partner Software division of Alpharetta, Ga., MedAppz of Wichita, Kan., NextGen Healthcare Information Systems of Horsham, Pa., and Pulse Systems of Wichita - have signed formal agreements with HEALTHeLINK, the Western New York Clinical Information Exchange, to increase the adoption rate of healthcare IT in physician offices and other healthcare practices. Through the agreement, the companies have agreed to extend preferred community-based pricing for their products, technology and services to exchange participants.

DR Systems of San Diego has received a Canadian Medical Device License from Health Canada for its Unity RIS/PACS system and will be debuting version 8.2 of the Unity software at the International MUSE Conference May 26-29 in Vancouver, Canada.

Medical Present Value, Inc., of Austin, Texas, has announced that six medical groups have signed contracts for MPV Contract Management, a Web-based solution designed to allow practices to audit reimbursement and payer performance based on individual client contract terms, the latest payment rules and payer adjudication logic. They are Florida Cancer Specialists in Fort Myers, Fla., Will County medical Associates in Joliet, Ill., the Panorama Orthopedics and Spine Center of Golden, Colo., the Webster Othopaedic Medical Group of San Ramon, Calif., the Mid-Maryland Musculoskeletal Group of Frederick, Md., and Vail Summit Orthopaedics of Vail and Edwards, Colo.

DocuSys, Inc., an Atlanta-based provider of anesthesia information, medication and presurgical care management solutions, has announced a partnership with Medusind Solutions, Inc., a San Juan Capistrano, Calif.-based outsourcing company providing revenue cycle management solutions.

, a Tucson, Ariz.-based developer of automated messaging solutions for physicians' offices, has announced that the Del Mar Family Practice of San Diego has seen significant improvement in office productivity and patient satisfaction since implementing the company's ReminderPro appointment reminder solution.

Henry Schein Medical Systems
of Boardman, Ohio, has launched version 7.0 of its MicroMD electronic medical record.

Preferred Health Technology, Inc., of Carrollton, Texas, has announced that the Indiana Podiatric Medical Association has endorsed the use of the company's A-Claim medical payment solution for its physicians, hospitals and other care providers. Along with the endorsement, the IPMA has signed a three-year agreement with the company that includes discounts on A-Claim for its members.

TeleHealth Services, based in Raleigh, N.C., has announced that Timpanogos Hospital in Orem, Utah, has selected the company to provide on-demand video education and entertainment services for patients through the company's TIGR system.

MDdatacor, Inc., of Atlanta, has added functions to its healthcare quality management solution to help Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield track immunizations to further enhance its Collaboration on Quality Primary Care Program, a collaboration between Wellmark and primary care clinicians in Iowa and South Dakota.

TCS Healthcare Technologies of Auburn, Calif., has added an interactive text messaging application and interface to its care management software platform, supported by the Life:WIRE Corp., a Toronto- and Annapolis, Md.-based mobile communications and health information solutions provider.

The SCIOinspire Corp., a Hartford, Conn.-based provider of analytics-driven healthcare cost management services, has launched the 2009 Solucia Webinar series, designed to offer insight into the company's disease and wellness management programs.
