System C Healthcare is showcasing its new clinical intelligence technology at a UK dashboard conference to held in Manchester, England on July 6.

The conference, Delivering High Quality Care For All Through Clinical Dashboards, will look at the practicalities of implementing Lord Darzi's recommendations made in the NHS Next Stage Review.

Dashboards provide clinicians with the tools and up-to-the-minute information they need to inform prompt decision-making and to measure, analyse and improve the quality of patient care.

System C will use the event to exhibit its own clinical intelligence technology, Medway Sigma BI. The company recently won a high-profile contract from NHS Connecting for Health to design, develop and implement pilot Clinical Intelligence Systems in more than a dozen NHS Trusts across England.

Keynote speakers at the conference include Andrew Vallance-Owen, group medical director of Bupa, and Professor Sabaratnam Arulkumaran, president of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at St George's Healthcare NHS Trust.

Delegates will also hear from three front-line NHS organisations which have been working on developing the first dashboard prototypes.
