Physician-owned CVFP Medical Group and concierge medicine network PartnerMD say they are deploying the Suki Assistant voice artificial intelligence system-wide to reduce clinicians’ administrative burdens.

Suki is proven to reduce documentation time per note by as much as 72% in family medicine settings and integrates with major electronic health record systems, including Epic, Cerner, Athena and Elation, according to today's announcement.

The implementations will enable clinicians at Virginia-based PartnerMD, a concierge physician network, and CVFP Medical Group, a physician-owned, primary care organization based in Lynchburg, to complete documentation in the background – using either dictation or commands.

Suki says it uses generative AI to listen to clinician-patient interactions in real-time and auto-generate clinical notes. Clinicians can review and accept, reject or edit content suggestions to ensure the accuracy of final notes.

Once notes are complete, they sync back to the EHR.

Accommodating multiple modes in a single solution gives clinicians greater flexibility in their workflows, according to Jack Bretcher, chief operating officer of PartnerMD.

"PartnerMD has been using Suki for some time and has been highly impressed with how it’s helped our physicians reduce their administrative burden and allow more time for the patient relationship and clinical care," Bretcher said in a statement.

Dr. Elizabeth Goff, a family medicine physician at CVFP, said use has earned her back "countless hours."

"Experiencing burnout from tedious notetaking and administrative duties, I contemplated transitioning to part-time work," she added.

Suki recently integrated its second-generation voice AI tool with Epic earlier this month.

"The latest release of Suki Assistant will ultimately assist both organizations in their endeavors to deliver outstanding care and services to patients, without compromising on daily administrative duties," said Jallel Harrati, senior vice president of sales and partnerships at Suki.
