For healthcare professionals, HIMSS17 is an excellent opportunity to see the latest technologies impacting healthcare and hear from industry experts on topics such as population health management, value-based reimbursements, and quality reporting measures.

HIMSS has created a new, one-day event offering healthcare career services in a centralized location. The HIMSS17 Career Fair will provide attendees with a wide range of career services and resources, including education, professional certification review and exams, professional photos, resume critiques, networking events and more.

“This is the first time we’re doing something like this,” said Maggie Van Vossen, manager of professional development for HIMSS. “We’ve had similar programs in the past, but the Career Fair is a one-day event that is free for attendees.”

“The Career Fair is where attendees can meet one-on-one with companies that are actually hiring,” Van Vossen says. “We also have these other activities going on at the Career Fair to bring in interested attendees.”

Those activities include: education sessions introducing healthcare data analytics, the HIMSS Portrait Studio featuring a professional photographer, emerging professionals poster sessions, free resume critiques and a networking reception.

In addition to the Career Fair, HIMSS17 will feature several other career-related events and services that require additional fees:
