LAS VEGAS – Experian Health, a technology vendor that specializes in automating and integrating revenue cycle and patient care coordination, has announced at HIMSS16 that it has adopted the brand Experian Health across its entire portfolio of healthcare businesses. The company is making the change to reflect the unification of 11 of its brand names, including Experian Healthcare, SearchAmerica, Medical Present Value, Passport Health Communications Inc., DSG, STAT Technologies, NEBO Systems Inc., Terahealth, Health Works, Pro Services Health Information Technologies and MediCheck.

“The U.S. healthcare system is moving rapidly to a consumer-centric model where key stakeholders – including employers, providers, pharmacies and health plans – are organizing themselves to empower consumers,” said Jennifer Schulz, group president of Experian’s vertical markets. “The combined capabilities of Experian Health uniquely position us to transform the healthcare ecosystem.”

The unified brand expands Experian Health’s capabilities beyond core revenue cycle products and services to include identity management, population wellness and patient engagement offerings that help healthcare organizations make smarter business decisions, better understand their financial performance, strengthen their bottom line, and enhance the patient payment and care experience, the vendor said.

“From revenue cycle through episodic care coordination and beyond, we are shaping the future of healthcare,” said Scott Bagwell, president of Experian Health. “We take what we do best – leveraging data-driven analytics and insights – and design advanced technologies, such as Touchless Processing and other offerings, that increase the financial and care efficiency and effectiveness across the healthcare community.”
