Call for Proposals: HIMSS Digital and Connected Health event

The event is slated to take place at HIMSS17 in Orlando on Feb. 19-20, 2017. Speaker proposals are now being accepted.

HIMSS is accepting speaker proposals for the Digital and Personal Connected Health @ HIMSS 17 event in Orlando on Feb. 19-20. The event is a collaboration between Healthcare IT News sister site MobiHealthNews and the Personal Connected Health Alliance (PCHA).

The two-day event will include keynotes, leadership panels and case studies. Sessions will explore the promise of digital/connected health and demonstrate how innovative healthcare organizations are using apps, patient generated health data, telemedicine and remote patient-monitoring initiatives to improve care, reduce the cost of healthcare and engage patients.

Case studies that demonstrate measurable outcomes are a priority.

Proposals are limited to payer and provider organizations, government agencies, associations, and academic institutions. Proposals from vendors, except on behalf of a payer or provider customers, are not accepted.

The deadline to submit a proposal is Friday, Oct. 28.
