HIMSS kicks off new mobile technology survey

HIMSS Analytics is kicking off a research project to better understand how mobile technologies are working their way into the ways patient care is delivered.  

Full disclosure: Government Health IT is owned by the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, a.k.a. HIMSS, which also owns HIMSS Analytics.

Here’s the description HIMSS Analytics provided:

This research addresses the impact mobile technology has had on care delivery, how healthcare organizations are using mobile technology to engage patients in their healthcare and the barriers to successfully implementing mobile technology. Your individual responses will remain confidential and the findings of the study will only be reported at the aggregate level.

Completing the survey qualifies you to participate in a drawing, the winner of which will be give the choice of a Samsung Galaxy, Apple iPhone 6 or iPad Mini, and $500 either in the form of a Visa gift card or donation to the charity of your choosing.
