Patient safety organization The Leapfrog Group has published its newest results for hospital safety scores, and we have the list of the 20 hospitals that received failing grades for safety.

This year, Leapfrog scored 2,523 hospitals across 28 different quality measures, and only 30 percent of them walked away with an 'A' in safety. Fewer hospitals earned Fs (20 compared to 26 in 2014), but fewer hospitals also earned As this time around. The lion's share of the hospitals that earned failing grades for patient safety had worsened since 2013.

The hospitals with failing grades in spring 2015 were located in California, Washington, D.C., Kansas, Georgia, Louisiana, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Texas.
