St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust has partnered with IMX MAXIMS to offer the NHS a fully integrated electronic patient record. The organizations are working together to provide a suite of tailored clinical and administrative software to improve efficiency and enhance patient safety and outcomes, officials say.

NHS organizations across the UK that choose to work with St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals and IMS MAXIMS will be able to utilize the expertise of a healthcare IT company combined with the firsthand experience of an NHS team.

“St Helens has worked with IMS MAXIMS to help us deliver our digitization project for over 20 years,” said Neil Darvill, director of health informatics at St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals. “Working together, we’ve been able to achieve our paper-light vision enabling us to streamline processes, improve efficiency and ensure that healthcare professionals have the best possible information at their finger tips to make the right decision for their patients.”

St Helens and IMS MAXIMS officials say they believe they have a unique offering to collaboratively tailor, configure, implement, host and provide support for the systems that NHS requires to meet the challenge of providing value-based healthcare.
