HIMSS reveals Social Media Ambassadors for HIMSS16

Take a look at the 20 health IT experts and personalities that will add their unique voices to this year’s conference via social networks.

HIMSS on Tuesday posted its eagerly anticipated lineup of Social Media Ambassadors for the upcoming HIMSS16 conference.

Social Media Ambassadors are credentialed by HIMSS to cover the conference through a variety of networks including Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook. HIMSS said they are chosen for social media savvy as well as unique perspectives on the topics and trends likely dominate during the show.

“Each Ambassador brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and a powerful network that enables a proactive and far-reaching discussion on the issues you will see at this year’s conference and the industry at large,” HIMSS social media program manager Michael Gaspar wrote in a blog post.
