Every year, Healthcare IT News recognizes leaders who are advancing healthcare technology through innovation, dedication and vision through the HIT Men and Women Award. We invite readers of Healthcare IT News to take part in the selection process and honor the winners at a ceremony sponsored by the awards co-founder Emids during the annual HIMSS conference.

In 2015, the nomination process began in late January. Readers were invited to submit the names of leaders whose work inspired them. After the nominations were made, readers were invited to vote on finalists through a web survey. The winners were honored at the HIMSS15 conference in Chicago on April.
