HIMSS is accepting topic and speaker proposals for the Revenue Cycle Solutions Summit in Orlando, Feb. 19, 2017. This two-day event will focus on the key issues and challenges that healthcare providers and payers face as the industry transitions to Obamacare and other new value-based/risk-sharing reimbursement models.
A key focus will address how providers are using health IT to drive improvement and efficiency throughout the revenue cycle, especially with data and analytics. Best Practices. Case Studies. Solutions. Case studies and real-life solutions are a priority for the audience to 200+ payer and provider revenue cycle leaders.
Proposals are limited to payer and provider organizations, government agencies, associations, and academic institutions. Proposals from vendors, except on behalf of a payer or provider customers, are not accepted.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, how healthcare payers and providers are using technology to:
* Right-size revenue cycle staff;
* Improve workflow and coding;
* Reduce denials;
* Enhance patient experience;
* Standardize and centralize processes;
* Improve A/R.
Other key topic areas: how healthcare organizations are using key performance metrics to improve revenue cycle performance; strategies and tactics for succeeding with high-deductible plans in the exchange marketplace; how providers and payers can work more collaboratively. To be considered, the proposal form (below) must be filled out completely.
